Collaboration Manager offers provisioning for SharePoint sites, groups and Microsoft Teams, based on customized templates. These templates can be built with list libraries, permissions and content without any coding or scripting. Users can then request new SharePoint sites from these templates. Additional features include an automated approval workflow as well as template synchronization (rolling out changes made afterward to a template to all existing sites).

This allows users to create their own sites, groups or teams, based on pre-defined templates that help companies keep control of a structured environment. Lifecycle management and governance processes are also covered, making SharePoint collaboration even more efficient.

Collaboration Manager SharePoint Site Templates’ solution is available for all SharePoint platforms: SharePoint Online, SharePoint on-premises (SharePoint 2013, SharePoint 2016, SharePoint 2019) and hybrid SharePoint scenarios.

As of 2022, the new app “Teams Manager” has taken over from Collaboration Manager. It offers more features and updated usability for templates, provisioning and governance of Teams, channels, groups, SharePoint sites, Yammer communities, Planner and much more.
