If you're rolling out a new app in Microsoft 365, a security questionnaire lands on your desk sooner or later. How does the vendor protect data? Who has access? What happens during a security incident? You can now answer much of that with a single document: Solutions2Share has been certified to ISO/IEC 27001:2022 since May 2025.
What the certification covers
An external audit confirmed that we run an effective information security management system (ISMS). The scope covers the development and operation of our governance solutions for Microsoft Teams and Microsoft 365. That includes Teams Manager and External User Manager.
ISO/IEC 27001 doesn't assess individual features. The standard looks at how we handle information security as a company: processes, responsibilities, and controls across development and operations.
What's behind ISO/IEC 27001:2022
ISO/IEC 27001 is one of the most widely used international standards for information security management. In the 2022 edition, it contains 93 controls in four themes: organizational, people, physical, and technological.
In practice, this means for example:
- We assess risks to the data we process regularly and document the results.
- Access to systems and customer data is governed by clear rules and can be traced.
- For security incidents, it's defined who does what and when.
- We review our controls continuously and improve them.
What it means for you
In regulated industries like energy, manufacturing, and financial services, a certified ISMS is often a prerequisite for making the shortlist. Supply chain requirements such as NIS2 add to that. Companies are looking more closely at how securely their vendors operate.
For you, that means less effort in vendor assessments. Instead of proving every point individually, you can rely on an independent audit against a recognized standard. Your privacy and compliance teams get a solid basis for their approval.
“Information security is fundamental for our customers and our products. The ISO/IEC 27001:2022 certification confirms our systematic and sustainable way of working,” says Christian Groß, CEO of Solutions2Share.
