Your Microsoft Purview retention policies can target that label. Lifecycle policies in Teams Manager archive inactive teams and, if you choose, delete them later.

STEP 03

Audit on demand

Export the governance report from Teams Manager as a PDF. External User Manager adds audit reports for every guest and, in the Enterprise edition, for each guest organization.

How does Solutions2Share complement Microsoft Purview?

Microsoft Purview provides the core compliance services, such as DLP, sensitivity labels, and retention. Teams Manager applies your sensitivity labels when a team is created. Retention then follows your Purview policies for that label. Purview stays the toolbox, and Teams Manager makes sure new teams start with the right label.

Can sensitivity labels apply automatically when a team is created?

Yes. When Teams Manager creates a team, it sets the label from the request, from a policy based on the template or metadata, or from your tenant default. Labels on files and emails stay with Microsoft Purview.

How long does a compliance rollout typically take?

Installing the apps takes a few minutes. How long the rollout takes depends on how many templates, sensitivity labels, and lifecycle policies you want to set up. In a demo, we'll sketch a realistic plan for your tenant.
